What is ultrasonic spraying?
Ultrasonic Spray System is a commercial-grade spraying machine used to deliver precise fine spray which is ideal for high-precision coating, micron coating, spray drying, vaporization, and humidification. Certainly, an innovative solution can help create a better world, and ultrasonic spraying systems are already achieving this by improving spraying efficiency and effectiveness.
How Does Ultrasonic Spray Work?
The Ultrasonic spray nozzle operates at a given flow rate ranging from 0.5 to 10 cc per minute. The super high vibration frequency is designed to generate very fine droplets.
The air assistance helps shape the spray pattern and allows the regulation of the droplet velocity. This makes it possible to shape the air pressure to achieve the desired low pressure (0.1 PSI), significantly affecting the spray velocity.
Note spray velocity adjustment is used to maximize the coverage using minimal overspray, thus resulting in reduced maintenance costs and effective utilization of materials. The spray controller helps regulate nozzle power and maintain resonant nozzle frequency.

Benefits of ultrasonic coating
Ultrasonic Spray technology has outdone conventional coating systems in various R&D and industrial applications and made it possible for spray processes previously considered impossible.
Unlike other standard coating systems, the ultrasonic spray nozzles are controllable, more precise and repeatable, and, more importantly, environmentally friendly.
The low-velocity, under pressurized spray can be easily adjusted, reducing the chances of overspray significantly since the drops only sit on the substrate surface instead of bouncing off. Besides saving on material consumption, it also helps reduce unwanted emissions directly into the environment.
- Reduces unnecessary material consumption/ overspray significantly by 80% and above
- Highly adjustable spray patterns, thus ensuring reliable, consistent results
- Ultra-low flow rate features
- Corrosion-resistant construction, thus making it safe to work in a humid environment
- The non-clogging design, therefore, makes it a shallow maintenance device
- High reliability, i.e. no moving parts when working
- You can control atomized drop size by choosing the right type of nozzle frequency
- Very tight drop distribution allows for maximization of the ideal coating morphology.
Ultrasonic spraying uses and applications
Some of the common applications of Ultrasonic spray include the following but are not limited to coating medical items such as( catheters stents), a layer of semiconductor boards and solar panels, humidification such as (glove boxes), and spray drying and other specialized applications in nanotechnology.
XYZ motion control system
These Ultrasonic Spray systems are designed for making thin-coating with average-volume production. These systems are pretty versatile and can use a wide range of mediums.
Balloon, Stent and Medical System
The medical ultrasonic spray system includes a high-volume production unit mainly designed to apply blood collection tube films such as the clotting, EDTA and Heparin agents.
Pyrolysis Systems
This ultrasonic spray system creates a thin film layer on metal oxides such as Zinc Oxide, Aluminum-doped zinc oxide, and Indium Tin Oxide. This specialized coating process demands a very specialized coating machine that can create the precise coating morphology and thickness and ultimately spray the most corrosive solutions when working in a high-temperature condition.
Wide Area Ultrasonic Spray Systems
These types of ultrasonic spray stems are used to produce a comprehensive, fan-shaped pattern with no moving marks used. The system is capable of producing reparable and uniform film coating.
Spray Drying System
These Ultrasonic spray drying systems feature a particular type of ultrasonic nozzle to eject extra-fine powder for spray drying purposes.
